First I'd recommend Nonlinear Partial Differential Equations with Applications by Roubicek. Part II of the book handles evolution problems and introduces every auxiliaries you will need later. Moreover, several PDEs and examples are investigated. No semigroup theory here, but the other methods. This book can be used either as a textbook in studying applications of wavelets to image processing or as a supplementary resource for studying nonlinear evolution equations or frequency-modulated signals. Most of the material in the book did not appear previously in monograph literature.

Nonlinear evolution equations solvable by the spectral transform: Some recent results. F. Calogero. Reflects a broad spectrum of research activities on the theory and applications of nonlinear dynamics and evolution equations. This book covers major areas of dynamical systems, ordinary, functional.

This book brings together several aspects of soliton theory currently available only in research papers. Emphasis is given to the multi-dimensional problems which arise and includes inverse scattering in multi-dimensions, integrable nonlinear evolution equations in multi-dimensions and the dbar method.

Nonlinear evolution equations, i.e., partial differential equations with time t as one of the independent variables, arise not only from many fields of mathematics, but also from other branches of science such as physics, mechanics and material science.

Book Description This book is devoted to the study of nonlinear evolution and difference equations of first and second order governed by a maximal monotone operator.

These applications may include nonlinear ill-posedness of linearly ill-posed Boussi- nesq equations, some small global solutions of the 2D Kuramoto- Sivashinsky equation, small global solutions for a problem in epi- taxial growth, and existence of solutions for non-separable mean field Size: 1MB.

Nonlinear evolution equations arise in many fields of sciences including physics, mechanics, and material science. This book introduces some important methods for dealing with these equations and explains clearly and concisely a wide range of relevant theories and techniques.

These include the semigroup method, the compactness and monotone operator. This book mainly serves as an elementary, self-contained introduction to several important aspects of the theory of global solutions to initial value problems for nonlinear evolution equations.

The book employs the classical method of continuation of local solutions with the Brand: Birkhäuser Basel. This book is devoted to the study of non-linear evolution and difference equations of first or second order governed by maximal monotone operator. This class ofAuthor: Behzad Djafari-Rouhani, Hadi Khatibzadeh.

Nonlinear Evolution Equations. The book is devoted to the questions of the long-time behavior of solutions for evolution equations, connected with kinetic models in statistical physics.

Nonlinear Evolution Equations: Integrability and Spectral Methods Antonio Degasperis, Allan P. Fordy, Muthusamy Lakshmanan Manchester University Press, - Mathematics - pages. The nonlinear evolution equation depending on a real parameter A in some real Banach space E is considered. If E is finite dimensional, this equation represents an ordinary dynamical system, and if E is infinite dimensional it is the abstract version of some class of nonlinear parabolic partial differential equations.Book of Abstracts The Ninth IMACS International Conference On Nonlinear Evolution Equations and Wave Phenomena: Computation and Theory Athens, Georgia April 1—4, Sponsored by The International Association for Mathematics and Computers in Simulation (IMACS) The Computer Science Department, University of Georgia Edited by Gino Biondini and File Size: 1MB.The global wellposedness to the Cauchy problem for those equations is systematically studied by using the harmonic analysis methods.

This book is self-contained and may also be used as an advanced textbook by graduate students in analysis and PDE subjects and even ambitious undergraduate students.
